Laurence has been working in the engineering industry for almost 10 years. Having completed an honours undergraduate degree in Energy Engineering, followed by a Master’s in Power Electronics, Machines & Drives, he began his career by taking a role in the design of High + Medium voltage connections to contestably built ESB substations. He then progressed to an electrical design role in the life sciences sector. In this sector Laurence quickly advanced to lead electrical design teams in the delivery of high value, multi-disciplinary projects receiving peer recognition. His area of technical expertise is the design of safe and reliable power distribution networks, and he has a firm understanding of national and international statutory electrical design standards. He prides himself on his strong work ethic and dedication to meeting, and exceeding, client expectations in engineering project delivery.
