Shane has been working in the Mechanical and Piping industry for almost 30 years. Moving away from the mechanical field, he attended a full-time college course studying process piping design in Western Australia. Since that time, he has secured roles with large multi-national engineering companies along with local Irish companies. Shane has worked on many projects across different industries including pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, chemical, mining, oil & gas, and food & beverage. He has worked in Australia, Asia Pacific, Mainland Europe and the UK, whilst still furthering his studies in Engineering and Project Management. He has been a team lead on several large-scale Irish based projects and has helped successfully coordinate the piping deliverables on or ahead of schedule. Shane prides himself in pushing innovation within the design team and has trained local and overseas designers.
